Fouling is the single largest cause of lost duty. Our plate heat exchanger cleaning covers both approaches: chemical circulation for units that can be cleaned in place without breaking the pack, and full dismantling with individual plate treatment where deposits are hard, thick or unevenly distributed. Once the pack is opened, plates go through alkaline or inhibited acid immersion, low pressure water jetting and non-metallic brushing, with the chemistry selected for the plate metallurgy so no surface damage or thinning occurs. We remove carbonate scale, biofilm, corrosion products, hydrocarbon residue and process solids. Work is carried out onsite at your unit or at our Jubail workshop, whichever suits your outage plan.
