That makes them the correct choice for outdoor areas, wash bays, jetties, and anywhere rainwater or process water is present, because the absorbent picks up the oil and leaves the water behind. Typical placement: refineries, fuel storage areas, generator rooms, workshops, and loading bays.

Chemical Spill Kit

For aggressive and hazardous liquids including acids, caustics, and solvents. The absorbents, gloves, aprons, and disposal materials are chemically resistant, so your responder is not creating a second incident while cleaning up the first. What Is Inside a Spill Kit

Buyers often ask what a spill kit actually contains before they order. Every kit we supply is built from four component groups.

Absorbents. Socks to ring the spill and stop it spreading or reaching a drain. Pads to soak up the bulk of the liquid. Pillows for deeper pools and for placement under active drips. Loose granules for uneven ground and awkward corners.

Personal protective equipment. Chemically resistant gloves, safety goggles, and a disposable apron or coverall, specified to the liquid class the kit is rated for.

Cleanup and disposal tools. Heavy duty disposal bags with ties, a scoop or dustpan for granules, and hazard warning signage.

Documentation. A response instruction card fixed inside the lid, and a contents list for inspection and restocking.
